A combination of Nicole and Riley's origins - Hong Kong and Yorkshire.
Having first crossed paths during their training at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Nicole and Riley quickly discovered a shared passion for storytelling. What began as a mutual curiosity soon grew into a collaborative vision: to create original work that not only entertains but resonates on a deeply human level.
Both were drawn to stories that confront universal themes - love, loss, identity, resilience - and the emotions that connect us all.
Out of this shared drive, Hokoyo Productions was born.
With a commitment to writing, producing, and performing, the company stands as a platform for authentic narratives that challenge, move, and inspire audiences across diverse backgrounds.
